Sam Uses the Trowel

I showed Sam how to use the garden trowel to break up clods of clay. This kept him occupied for a long time, stabbing the ground. Then he put the shovel in his mouth. Niiiiice.

Kids of all ages love trowels and shovels! My two love to turn dirt. They investigate it as they fling it out. Such a good science/physical activity!
